THE PAUL REVERE LANTERN Every one has heard of the “Midnight ride of Paul Revere”. It all happened on April 19, 1775. Robert Newman, sexton of the Old North Church in Boston, gave the signal to Paul Revere “ONE IF BY LAND, TWO IF BY SEA”. Our lantern is an exact replica of the lantern used in 1775 to give the signal to Paul Revere. The 4 sided glass lantern is 16” tall. Each side is 5 3/4”. The front side is a door that swings open to provide for lighting the candle. A story of the famous lantern is provided with each lantern as is a candle itself.
