THE PAUL REVERE BOWL

In 1768 Paul Revere made a bowl to commemorate a vote taken by the Massachusetts Assembly to disobey the Kings order. That bowl with the following inscription is now at the State House in Boston.
“To the Memory of the glorious NINETY-TWO: members of the
Hon’bl House of Representatives of the MASSACHUSETTS BAY, undaunted by the insolent Menace of Villains in Power, from a strict Regard to Conscience, and the LIBERTIES of their constituents: on the 30th of June, 1768, voted NOT TO RESCIND”.
The style of this same bowl is now known the world over as the `Paul Revere Bowl’.
John Anthony’s offers a full selection of Paul Revere Bowls in non-tarnishing pewter. Sizes range from 4 to 12 inches in diameter. Available in bright and pewter finishes. Engraving available. Please call with your specific requirements.
